Two Minds, ONE MISSION

June 8 @ 8:00 am - 5:00 pm UTC+0

Unlocking the SECRETS to a S.A.F.E. and Reliable Relationship with Your Horse
presented by Horse of a Different Color:  Brain-Centered Horsemanship

In this clinic we unlock the SECRETS of an unbelievable bond with your equine friend.
No matter if you are a recreational rider, competitor, instructor, or new to the sport, you and your horse, are a team of two minds with one single mission…to work harmoniously together as a TEAM.
Therefore, understanding how the brain processes information, influences behavior and learns is imperative to success.
In this clinic you will learn:
*How each human and horse team influence the other biologically
*Basic brain principles for horse and rider
*How the brain of the horse and rider learns and processes information.
*Memory pathways and why they matter
*How FEAR affects learning and training
*How to use groundwork and obstacles to build a strong bond
The day is divided into four segments of lecture, principle of non-resistance handling (with Masterson Method Certified Practitioner Wendy Shaffer), groundwork, and obstacle work.
Attendance is kept to a maximum of 10 auditors and 10 riding participants who will be divided into groups of 5 for 4 personalized arena work sessions, either in-hand and/or riding.
The day is created to be user and brain friendly. Meaning, it is designed to be an enjoyable, stress-free day with your horse.
While not in the arena, participants will have the opportunity of working in independent learning stations, watching from the fence, spoiling your horse with a BEMER session, or interacting with on-site ‘whole horse’ practitioners.
Jenn Currie, clinician, is an accomplished equestrian, master teacher, and Equine Affaire presenter. She and her mounts, JayJay and Slick, enjoy inspiring others to reach new heights with their own partnerships.
Jenn is a staunch advocate for whole horse health.
